On Thursday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) intensified ground operations in Gaza's Beit Lahiya, acting on intelligence that revealed terrorist threats and infrastructure in the area. The IDF also coordinated safe civilian evacuations to minimize risks for local residents.
Operations in Gaza
In the northern Gaza town of Jabalya, IDF soldiers reportedly eliminated approximately 50 terrorists in the last 24 hours. Similar actions were taken in Rafah, located in southern Gaza, where IDF troops targeted and dismantled terrorist infrastructure.
IDF Strikes in Lebanon
Beyond Gaza, the IAF conducted airstrikes targeting over 110 terror-related sites linked to Hamas in Gaza and Hezbollah in Lebanon. Around 20 of these sites were located in Lebanon's Baalbek area and north of the Litani River. The IDF reported that approximately 60 Hezbollah militants were killed in these attacks.
Among the targets in Lebanon, IDF forces demolished a weapons storage facility, a military structure, and multiple launchers, including one positioned as a direct threat to IDF troops. These launchers had been used to fire rockets toward central Israel.
Summary
The ongoing IDF operations in Gaza and Lebanon demonstrate Israel’s continued efforts to dismantle terror networks and reduce regional threats. With coordinated strikes and targeted operations, the IDF aims to address and neutralize the capabilities of both Hamas and Hezbollah in the region.
