In a significant development, the IDF has exposed Hezbollah's strategy of using civilian homes in southern Lebanon to launch heavy cruise missiles against Israel. The IDF's spokesperson, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, revealed that Hezbollah fighters intended to launch a DR-3 cruise missile, loaded with hundreds of kilograms of explosives, from a residential building.
In a video released by the IDF, a Hezbollah operative is seen leaving the structure before it was struck by the IDF. This revelation is part of Hezbollah’s broader strategy of using civilian areas as shields for their weapons and operations.
The IDF is taking proactive steps to warn Lebanese civilians, sending SMS alerts urging them to distance themselves from buildings that Hezbollah uses to store weaponry. Brigadier General Hagari emphasized, "In the near future, we will target objectives in Lebanon. Anyone near properties or homes where Hezbollah hides weapons should stay away – Hezbollah is endangering you."
The latest airstrikes and ground operations by the IDF are part of a larger effort to eliminate Hezbollah's capabilities and ensure the safety of Israeli citizens. As tensions continue to rise, the IDF remains committed to countering threats from Hezbollah and ensuring peace and security in the region.
