In a dramatic reveal, the IDF announced that over the past few months, more than 70 covert operations have been carried out deep inside Lebanon. These operations targeted Hezbollah's preparations for a massive attack on Israel known as "Conquering the Galilee."
Key Findings from the Operations:
Tunnels and Weapons: The elite IDF units discovered and destroyed tunnels and underground bunkers filled with thousands of weapons, explosives, and equipment meant for Hezbollah’s Radwan forces.
Preventing Infiltration: The IDF’s goal was to stop Hezbollah from using these tunnels to launch a swift attack into Israel.
Elite Units in Action: Special IDF units conducted these operations over 200 nights, infiltrating villages, and mountainous areas to dismantle Hezbollah’s infrastructure.
IDF Spokesperson Brig. Gen. Daniel Hagari explained that the army has been closely monitoring Hezbollah's activities and is prepared for any threats that may arise from Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, or even Yemen.
The recent operations are part of a larger strategy to prevent Hezbollah's forces from invading Israel and protect the northern communities. Although significant damage was inflicted on Hezbollah's plans, the threat persists, and the IDF continues to remain vigilant.
