The State Attorney’s Office has filed an indictment against two Jerusalem residents, aged in their 30s, for allegedly transferring sensitive information to Hezbollah. According to reports from Walla on Sunday, the suspects were in contact with a woman named Dania via a WhatsApp group. They continued communicating with her even after learning that she worked for the Lebanese terror group Hezbollah.
One of the suspects, Abd Al-Islam, reportedly sent images of the area surrounding Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s home in Caesarea to Dania. In a separate incident, during a visit to Jenin, Abd Al-Islam also took a photograph with a weapon linked to a person identified as "Abu Harb." The second suspect, Ta'ar Ali, allegedly transferred news articles concerning Israeli security to Dania.
Additionally, the two were requested to reach out to a senior Hezbollah intelligence official, identified as "Al-Haj."
In a related case, last week, the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and Israel Police reported the arrest of Mohammad Saadi, a 19-year-old Nazareth resident, for transferring information to Hezbollah during the war. Saadi is accused of contacting Hezbollah multiple times over recent years, expressing an interest in joining the terror group. He allegedly offered to send photos and videos, including those taken during the conflict, and provided critical information about the locations of rocket crashes, IDF positions, and aircraft movements.
These incidents highlight ongoing concerns over Hezbollah’s efforts to gather intelligence and expand its network within Israel.
