IDF and US Cyber Command Conclude Successful CYBERDOME IX Exercise

The IDF recently concluded a two-week cyberdefense exercise, "CYBERDOME IX," in collaboration with the US Cyber Command. Held in the United States, the exercise was aimed at enhancing the cyberdefense capabilities of both countries, simulating various scenarios centered on regional threats.
With the participation of dozens of IDF soldiers and US Cyber Command personnel, the drill provided valuable insights into the evolving cyber threats faced by both nations. The exercise focused on strengthening cooperation and information sharing, crucial in addressing global cyber challenges.
Maj.-Gen. Aviad Dagan, chief of the IDF Cyber Defense Directorate, emphasized the significance of this collaboration, saying, "CYBERDOME IX illustrates the importance of cooperation between Israel and the United States in the cyber domain." He described the exercise as a "strategic opportunity" to deepen professional ties and share knowledge to bolster defense capabilities.
Brig.-Gen. Matthew Lennox, Deputy Commanding General of the US Army Cyber Command, also highlighted the exercise’s importance, stating, “This annual event provides a valuable opportunity for US and Israeli cyber personnel to work together in a complex training environment, strengthening the bond between our two nations.”
The exercise is part of an ongoing effort to improve cybersecurity and counter emerging threats in the digital realm, further solidifying the strategic partnership between Israel and the United States in the cyber domain.
